What exactly is an athletic director? This individual of a school is responsible for conducting and controlling all of the sporting events for a school. This person decides what sports are played at the school, as well as when the games are played, and where they are played. This person is also in charge of how the facilities at the school are maintained, and it is their decision in conjunction with the board of the school if there are repairs or replacements done to athletic facilities at the school.

This person, for a college, is responsible for controlling the athletic recruiting done in high schools. This person controls the college scouts and tells them where to go and who to get and watch. This is actually a major responsibility for an individual, but a very good one for men.

And all this takes for men is to obtain a degree in sports – which isn’t hard if you use your athletic ability to get you a scholarship in college. You can get a degree in athletic administration while you are in college playing a sport. That gives you double the career opportunity that you ever had.

A job as an athletic director will guarantee you a good income in a very competitive field. Of course, you will have to work hard at this job and have a lot of responsibilities. And you will have to fill out probably many resumes and try out for many jobs, but it is all worth it.

A degree to be an athletic director while you are playing college sports will allow you to stay in the sports field even if you are not playing. You can give other people the opportunities you had and make good money while you are doing so. For many men, it is a dream job.
